In remarks certain to rile the German Ministry of Magic, the great-nephew of Gellert Grindelwald, the wizard who led the overthrow of the Muggle government in the 1930s, has called for a new wizard takeover of Germany, in an interview with Die Post Wizardum.

"The German muggles may be comfortable economically but they have no power to influence events, even their own fate, having been occupied and subjected to fake anti-sovereign demands by their goblin-run Muggle neighbours. They are as powerless as the Palestinians," said Saed Grindelwald.

Asked by the interviewer why the German muggles had accepted their fate, the young wizard, who finished his education at Beauxbatons only three years ago, replied, "The Muggles are fatalistic because all their goblin infested neighbours, keen to keep the spoils of colonialism in the trade sector, are united against a strong identity in any European country in case it interferes with the bureaucratic parasitism developed during those times.

"As long as the West can exploit developing countries, and draw their wealth with promises of modernism and twisted infrastructure support, through the goblin-backed banks, they can maintain colonial power over them and their own populations. Britain is largely a financial centre now due to that economic policy."

The comments, made in an interview to Die Post Wizardum, Germany's largest wizarding newspaper, which published a double spread over pages 5 and 6, was entitled, 'Saed Grindelwald, heir to Grindelwald legacy, speaks out.'

In his first interview to the press, Saed Grindelwald also made reference to recent events in Afghanistan and America, claiming the actions of the American wizard Grump, which had led to an invasion of the Capitol, had shown the popularity of the wizarding option.

"Faith in the Muggle leaders has declined after the humiliating defeat in Afghanistan, and this is the time to challenge the Muggle systems," said the young wizard, who is being called the Heir of Grindelwald by some sections of the pure-blood community in Germany.

The Ministry of Magic in Berlin declined offers to comment on the interview, but insiders were quick to point out that it was very broad-ranging and 'in reality no more than a statement to encourage a point of view, which while widespread among German wizards, had little practical support or new ideas for action."

Whether Saed Grindelwald can be a lightning rod for the Pure-Blood wizards remains to be seen, but there is no doubt that his remarks come at an opportune moment for those who oppose the Statute of Secrecy. The weakness of the Ministries following the Goblin crisis, has had some wizards re-appraising Gellert Grindelwald's solution to the 'Muggle problem,' a tendency not at all to the liking of the Ministries which are determined to preserve the status quo.
