Quibbler tittle tattle

MP and father of Harry Potter actress stabbed in broad daylight

Unsurprisingly, as The Quibbler warned readers a few weeks ago, more mayhem has followed the Muggle published works of Harry Potter, ostentiously authored by JK Rowling.

As wizards know from past Quibbler reports, eleven Muggle movie actors who starred in the Harry Potter movies have died, some in rather untimely fashion. Others have fallen afoul of the law and been imprisoned or in the case of the lead actor, Daniel Radcliffe, who played the wizard hero, Harry, have experienced extensive Wrackspurt attacks that have led to a drunkenness and despair.

Yesterday, another family tragedy overtook an actress, Katie Amess, who was a Ravenclaw student in the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix movie. Her father, an MP, was stabbed and killed while meeting his constituents.

David Amess was a well known MP for Southend, and is the second parliamentarian to have been stabbed in broad daylight after Jo Cox, the MP who made a passionate inaugural speech paraphrasing the Harry Potter books in Parliament in 2015.

That both stabbings and deaths, the only ones involving British MPs in the last two decades, are linked to the Harry Potter movie, will now surely raise eyebrows. Or will it? Muggles, not famed for their intelligence, generally ignore the warning signs that The Quibbler had pointed out in the last few weeks.

After a couple of mysterious fires and accidents at Harry Potter themed cafes, The Quibbler had advised readers to watch out for more signs of the growing Muggle Conspiracy against Harry Potter.
