Muggle 'Harry Potter' star suddenly collapses on celebrity golf tour
Muggle news print is currently full of the story of the collapsing Muggle star who played Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter movies.
Tom Felton, a British actor, has been one of the more visible stars and enthusiastic supporter of the movies which raked in more than $8 billion for Hollywood giant, Warner bros. Regularly posting on 'social media' like twitter, the actor who turned 34 on the day, had recently exhorted his fellow cast members to join a reunion to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the 'special' movies.
Actors who accepted a role in the movies, which ended in 2011, have not fared particularly well in their lives off stage. Apart from the well known drunkness of its main star, Daniel Radcliffe, who played Harry Potter, 11 actors from the movies have since died, including those playing Dumbledore, Snape and Vernon Dursley. The latter, swelled up to look more like a pig, died of heart complications during surgery in 2013. Meanwhile, the second Dumbledore actor was involved in a minor car accident in 2017 where he was accused of driving over a cyclist's toes.
Muggle fans of Tom Felton must hope that the young actor is not the 12th actor from the movie series to die. Most likely the cause of the mystery collapse was brought on by exuberant birthday celebrations; a not unlikely reason given that British Muggles are known for heavy drinking.
However, The Quibbler's sources tell us that they CANNOT rule out some kind of foul play. The celebrity golf event included the goblin star, Alessandro del Piero, and in private the goblins have turned increasingly vitriolic against the Harry Potter story, fearing that its popularity and the social messages of its erstwhile ghost author, JK Rowling, are undermining their control over Muggle culture.
